Rowing

About me

As a rowing coach I have been working in The Netherlands, Portugal and Switzerland. I coach from club- until Olympic level, all ages, levels, boats and club-sizes. To get an impression take a look at my rowing-gallery, or visit my instagram.

At the moment I am coaching one of NED top-lightweight scullers Maxim den Boogert in Breda (NED), and regular at CR&ZV Dudok Van Heel the rowing club of the Royal Military Academy in Breda (NED).

POR LM2X

In the 15 years I worked as a professional rowing coach, one of my best teams was the LM2X of Portugal consisting of Pedro Fraga and Nuno Mendes. Among international medals and titles we won a silver medal at the European Championships in 2010 and went to the Olympics in 2008 and 2012.

Maxim den Boogert

This outstanding athlete is my main focus-point on top-level. Maxim is one of the top lightweight scullers in NED. Results include NED Champion U23 LM1X, winner Skiffhead 2023, participation in WCUP II and Henley in (L)M4X. This very dedicated athlete will show some more in the future!

External coaching

I am also available for external coaching within any club at any level. At the moment I coach mainly at the Tilburg Rowing course and in Breda (NED).
